Grammar is Losing Ground in the Workplace
When I was a college writing instructor, I noticed my students had adopted sloppy grammar and spelling habits from IM-ing, texting, emailing, and Tweeting. I told one student she had to capitalize the personal pronoun “I,” and she replied “My computer usually fixes that.” It was maddening. (Click on headline to link to WSJ article.)
